Firefox 3.1 Beta is due shortly according to the Mozilla programmer. It will mean that web applications will now be able to multi threaded. Which means that they will be able to function faster on a computer with a hyper threading CPU or a computer with more then one core. If the computer will be able to meet those requirements, the application will be able to run much faster, then google’s way of multi threading. But with google chrome you’ll probably be able to run more applications at the same time. Yeah understand now. If Firefox gets web developers interested in building application that are multi threaded then Firefox will have the upper hand.

The Firefox 3.1 Beta will come soon, or even the Firefox 3.1 Beta 2 and Firefox 3.1 Beta 3.
